Create Jobs, Help Orphanages, Provide Education and give the Gift of Clean Water to Rural Cambodians
Girls and women are physically and sexually harassed by business owners and contractors and are often forced to a life in the slums, receiving very low wages and resorting to prostitution where infection of HIV/AIDS is prevalent. The project aims to provide and support 25 young women from 12 districts throughout Siem Reap province with training in sewing. Goods would be sold locally to support more women (making the initiative sustainable). We will hire an experience trainer to direct and teach the women. We will monitor and evaluate the project also reporting regularly to its donors. Please contribute to this project to empower poor rural women and girls living in Siem Reap province so they can secure employment, improve their quality of life, and avoid being sexually trafficked.
